Joint pain is a common issue and tends to affect us more as we age. It can be caused by injury, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, and bursitis.

VOCAL (Voice of Carers Across Lothian) supports and empowers unpaid carers in Edinburgh and Midlothian through individual support, information, training and access to services.
Alzheimer Scotland provides services and support across Scotland to help anyone who is worried about their memory, has a diagnosis of dementia, or who is supporting someone with dementia.

Centre for Psychological Therapies
The Centre for Psychological Therapies at the University of Edinburgh provides evidence based psychological therapies for children and young people in the community.
We accept self referrals for children and young people (up to 26) with mild to moderate mental health presentations, including: low mood, anxiety, phobias and panic.
A range of parenting programmes and courses are available for parents and carers of children aged 0 to 16 years. The courses are free for parents of children living or attending school in Edinburgh.

Penumbra Mental Health is a pioneering charity providing dedicated services for people with mild to serious and enduring mental ill health.
They support people on their journey to better mental health, by working with each person to find their own way forward.
Enquire is the Scottish advice service for additional support for learning. Providing easy to understand advice and information about additional support for learning legislation and guidance for families and professionals.
There are ways to access their help including their helpline, online information, publications and outreach work.
