eConsults

This is for clinical problems.
This option is available between 7am and 5pm

Please provide as many details in eConsults as possible to allow optimal care.

eConsult Reviews

This is for Medication, Asthma or COPD reviews.
Please provide as many details as possible.
This option is available 24 hours a day

eConsult Admin

This is for all Admin Queries including Sickline Extensions.
Please provide as many details as possible.
This option is available 24 hours a day

From 10th March 2025 we will be using eConsult to manage all urgent on the day inquiries once all appointment slots are filled. Please complete a detailed clinical eConsult or speak to reception if no internet access or after 5pm.

We hope this improves access for everyone.

Dr Chris Nickerson

The Practice are sad to confirm that Dr Chris Nickerson passed away peacefully on Friday 12th April 2024. Chris will be sorely missed by all.

APPOINTMENTS INFORMATION

Please help us by getting the right care from the right place by:

  • Searching NHSInform.scot for self-help advice on common symptoms and a guide to local services and opening times.
  • Visiting your local Pharmacy first to help treat minor illnesses, many can provide consultations without an appointment and prescribe medicines previously only available from the GP.
  • Calling the GP practice for routine or urgent care during the normal opening hours.
  • Contacting your dentist for any dental problems or an optician for any eye problems.
  • Calling 111, day or night, for minor injuries advice and treatment, or for urgent care when your GP or dental practice is closed.
  • Dialling 999 or attend A&E ONLY in a critical emergency.

You will be aware from the media and other sources that the NHS is facing unprecedented demand for services across all areas. Primary Care is no different. As we have come out of the COVID pandemic, we have consistently reviewed our overall service provision for our (Sighthill Green) 10,400 patients. This has included an upgrade to the telephone systems in an attempt to meet the incoming telephone call demand.
